Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Although a decent vintage, I am struck by the high acidity and scarcity of fruit in this Mercurey. The usual woody/earthy notes are there but I only detected fleeting red fruit (dried raspberry, cherry). Unbalanced at the moment, I'm not sure it will improve with much ageing. It did settle down with a plate of fatty salami and procuitto, however.
Lynn Van Der Linde rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Traditional earthy aromas found in this Burgundian Pinot Noir, with hints of smoke and leather. Lots of acidity on the palate, but the red cherry flavours were short lived. Would work well with pot roast and root vegetables.
Tasted August 2017.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

To be honest I expected a little more from this wine and especially at the price point. Typical Burgundy aromas of earth, mushroom and dusty leather. Not as much fruit as I would have liked; black cherry and cranberry were barely detectable on the nose - a little more evident on the palate. Tannins were soft but overcome by the acidity. Maybe it was a bit off or just needs a little more time in the bottle? I think it might be worth a second try sometime in the future. Tasted August 29, 2017.
