Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

No Havoc but a lot of Harmony on this 2023 Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough. Love the fact that it comes in at 11% abv because I definitely want more than one glass of this super fresh SB! Produced from grapes sourced from younger vines in the Wairau region, this SB is vibrant and gentle with ripe gooseberry, fine herbs, tropical fruit notes, nettle and a bit of dill herb with a lingering lime leaf finish. Excellent length on this crisp and silky SB from Wairau River Wines. Tasted November 2024.

Wairau is Maori for "Many Waters" and Wairau River Wines is named after the river that runs through the heart of the Marlborough wine region. In the 1970s, the Rose Family planted vines and sold their grapes to wineries like Cloudy Bay. In the early 1990s, they launched their own label, and the company continues to be family owned and operated to this day. Wairau River Wines is one of the largest independent wine estates in Marlborough.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
