Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A glistening purple colour with pronounced aromas of dark skinned plum, blackberry and cherry. Very fruity on the palate with reflections of dried fruit, prune and raisin elements. Medium plus acidity, medium minus tannin and finish. Pair with spicy asian cuisine and full bodied cheeses. 88 points - tasted July 2017
Jon Steeves rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a great example of a cool climate Foch Baco - Noir blend from PEC. Loaded with flavours and complex aromatics. Medium-plus body. 12.8% declared ABV. Densely concentrated and ruby red. Dark plum, blackberry, vanilla, a hint of toasted oak. Great acidity. Well balanced and integrating nicely. Enjoy paired with cedar plank salmon, BBQ hoisin marinated pork tenderloin, meatballs or charcuterie platter. Tasted June 2017. 90 points. BespokeTastings

Sandbanks Estate Winery Sleeping Giant 2016, Prince Edward County, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: Juicy, fleshy ripe purple plums and blackberry jam on the nose and palate. A terrific, full-bodied blend of Foch and Baco Noir grapes from Prince Edward County. Lots of mocha, oak, smoke and dark fruit. Perfect for grilled meats. The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
