Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

California Cabernet Sauvignon (90%) with additions of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Malbec. Blackberry jam, dark skinned plum with smoke, dark chocolate and touches of roasted green bell peppers. Flavours are full showing black cherry, stewed strawberries, anise and peppercorn heat at the back. A good pairing for meatloaf, hamburgers or meatballs. 88 points. - Tasted March 2018
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted July 14th 2017, with neighbours. Colour dark red, medium legs. Aromas, blackberry, cranberry, red current, camp fire smoke and coffee grounds. Taste, black fruit, dry, medium mouth feel, medium tannin and acidity, hint of charcoal on the finish. An ok wine paired with grilled meat and or hard cheese.
Tania Thomas rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This crowd-pleasing Cabernet Sauvignon-based Bordeaux blend hails from the cool-climate, hillside vineyards of Sonoma County. Despite an ongoing drought, 2014 turned out to be a great vintage. Fruit forward with layers of dark fruit on the nose and aromas and flavours of ripe black cherries, blackberries and cassis on the palate. Subtle touch of spice. Good structure and balance, well integrated oak. Firm tannins starting to mellow. Closes in a long, lingering cedary finish. Perfectly released in time for summer BBQ, as it make a great companion to grilled meats. Tasted June 2017. Tania Thomas – www.runawaygrape.com
Wineboy rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

a classic Cali CS. medium weight. More fruit dominated - less oak. Smoothing nicely but might benefit from 2 more years. 2018 note - more herbacious nose with some aromas more reminiscent of Cab. Franc than CS. Oak becoming more apparent as fruit subsides over time.
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A simple, easy drinking BBQ/patio pleaser. Lovely ripe plum, jammy blackberry, leather, vanilla, and allspice notes linger on the palate. Enjoy this dark, velvety fruit forward, medium+ bodied entry level California Cabernet with jalapeno cheddar beef BBQ burgers. Tasted May 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketasting.ca
