Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Beautifully balanced, and reminds me of a warm summer day. Mellow grassy notes, fresh lemon-lime with a soft herbaceous finish. Bright, mouthwatering acidity that manages to not overwhelm. Nice body and a long finish makes this wine perfect for food. Try with chicken stuffed with brie and asparagus
or any shellfish.
Jon Steeves rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Zesty and fresh! Mouthwatering acidity, crisp, tart mouthfeel. Lemongrass, lime zest, zesty green apple on the palate. Medium body, balanced and wound up for enjoyment. Pair with fried breaded calamari and a lemon drizzle with tzatziki. Tasted 2016 vintage in Oct 2017. 91 points. BespokeTastings

Natalie's Review

Frog's Leap Sauvignon Blanc 2016, Rutherford, Napa Valley California, United States: Intense lemon vibrancy on the nose and palate, which also offers green apple tartness. Assertive mouth-watering acidity. Crisp and refreshing with nuances of long wispy grass in a fresh spring rain. Finishes with green apple and lime tang. Try it with vegetarian dishes. This Californian Sauvignon Blanc is produced by a winery founded in 1981 by John Williams and Larry Turley. The grapes are dry farmed and it shows here in the depth and complexity of this wine. The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
