A decent blend of cabernet, merlot, and cab franc. Very food friendly and a nice table wine
Lynn Van Der Linde rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

2012 was a great year for Niagara, and this Estate Red from Two Sisters demonstrates what a good grape growing year can do for wine makers.
Aromas of dark fruit, vanilla and a hint of mint on the nose, balanced acidity and tannin, with a lengthy fruit finish. Perfect with barbecued meals.
Tasted as Taste Ontario Ottawa, March 29, 2017.

Natalie's Review

Two Sisters Vineyards Estate Red 2012, Niagara, Ontario VQA, Canada: Give this baby more cellar time and it will reward you richly. Decant 1-2 hours when opening it. This is a robust Niagara red wine blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot grapes. It was aged for 40 months in seasoned French oak barrels. Juicy, deep, rich and flavourful with dark fruit and not too much oak. Pair with a rare steak. Drink: 2017-2022. 13.50% D 750 mL  $21.00 Score: 90/100. Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
