Craig Haynes rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

White orchard tree fruits and stoney minerality defined this chardonnay from the Niagara Peninsula appellation. Collaborating harmonious on the bouquet and palate, this combination delivered a mouthwatering, medium bodied palate with a welcoming extended aftertaste. This kosher wine is unoaked, enabling its grapes’ mature characteristics to show-off. Enjoy.

Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of golden apple and pear with a buttery hint. Medium bodied on the palate with medium+ acidity, and fresh and slightly tart fruit on the palate, along with a clean and slightly creamy texture with a buttery hint. Enjoy with roasted chicken.
Jane Staples rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

An unoaked Chard showing Golden Delicious apples and pear aromas, repeated on palate with slight buttery caramel and a creamy texture.

Medium-bodied with good acidity for roast chicken. The winery's name Tzafona comes from the Hebrew word meaning northward and refers to the cool climate of the appellation in which the vines for this wine are planted in the Niagara Peninsula.
