Jane Staples rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

From Spain's Rioja region, a Tempranillo matured 24 mos in oak, 12 mos in bottle. Aromas and stronger flavours of mature red fruit, sweet spice, tobacco, leather and fragrant rosemary. Mouth-watering acidity, silky tannins, endless elegant finish. Savour this one with rack of lamb smothered in lots of garlic and rosemary.

Natalie's Review

Muriel Reserva Vendimia Seleccionada 2011, Rioja D.O.C.A., Spain: This lovely Spanish red wine is dusty and earthy with great structure, but it's not fruity in the least. Just a faint hint of dried blackberry on this Rioja red wine. Also dried herbs and an almost chalky finish in an attractive way, though a little short. This full-bodied Spanish red wine is made from all Tempranillo. Finishes with espresso. Drink: 2014-2018. 276030 13.50% XD 750 mL  $20.95 Score: 89/100. February 9, 2017 Plush Pork Wine  Full Review

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
