Jane Staples rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

I tried this Spanish Cab recently and enjoyed its balanced dark berry flavours, smooth tannins and elegant finish. Less sweet and jammy than many other Cabs, making it more refreshing and versatile.
Tasted April 2017
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

I like this wine because it has a nice bouquet of jammy fruit on the nose. Easy to drink with a taste of blackberries, the tannin is agreeable and the finish is very pleasing.
It is a go to wine for meat dishes and hard cheese. On Wikipedia I have learned that Bodegas Torres is the largest winery in Spain. They also have large holdings in Chile.
This is a winery family with a long history of wine making. They sell wine in over 140 countries. They produce a wide range of products. Their fermentation is at controlled temperature and letting the wine mature in small oak barrels is a habitual practice.
Jon Steeves rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This Spanish Cabernet Sauvignon offers value and loads of structure with a heavy aromatic profile. Densely concentrated red and black berry, loads of tannins, with a surprising hint of mandarin orange. Long finish with persistence of blackberry. Full bodied, balanced with medium acidity, medium fruit. Paired well with dark chocolate covered strawberries and drank well on its own. Would pair well with BBQ steak or braised beef. Tasted Jan 2017. Rated 89/100.
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Smoke, spice and gamey aromas galore! The palate shows mellow cassis and plum notes overpowered by dark chocolate, smoke, cedar and spice notes. Tannins are grippy, acidity is high and finish is long. Enjoy this full bodied Spanish Cabernet Sauvignon with smokey bacon blue cheese bison burgers. Natalie's Review

Torres Gran Coronas Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2012, Penedès, Spain: What a magnificently balanced, structured and sculpted Spanish Cabernet! The grapes for this lusciously ripe Spanish Cabernet Sauvignon grow on vines planted on the belvedere of the Mas la Palana estate. Aromas of blackberry jam, dark spice and some pepper. Pair with grilled meats. Drink: 2014-2020. 36483 14% D 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 91/100. January 11, 2017 Best Value Red Wine. Voluptuous Veal Wine  Full Review
