Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A very pleasant Niagara-on-the-Lake Pinot Noir by G. Marquis. A pretty pale garnet colour with an inviting brick hue. An intricate bouquet of cherries, strawberries, cola, sweet smoke and forested wild flowers. Flavours reveal red plums, steeped tea, fresh basil and toasted hickory almonds. Acidity is bright yet balances nicely with distinct medium tannins and a medium minus body. Pair with grilled chicken and cremini mushrooms.
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Savoury, medium-bodied, with a nice garnet hue. Subtle sour cherry takes a back seat to a core of anise, spice and earthy flavours and stemmy but supple tannins. Great with herb-crusted grilled pork chops.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A typical Pinot from Niagara-on-the-Lake. Light cherry colour. Sour cherry, dusky and earthy notes on the nose. Tart cherry flavours with fresh acidity and smooth tannins. Medium-long fruit finish. Pair with pork tenderloin brushed with olive oil and rosemary. Tasted March 13, 2017.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

This pinot noir is a bit young yet. It needs a bit more time to come together. It opens up to rose and florals on the nose. Palate has a hint of cinnamon spice. Medium wieight.
Matt Steeves rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

G. Marquis Silver Line Pinot Noir is a great example of a value-priced Ontario Pinot. Expressive aromas and flavour with tart cherry, plum, hibiscus, mushroom, and dried herbs on the nose and palate. Medium bodied with delicate tannins, this would be great with pan seared lamb lollipops with rosemary and dijon. Tasted December 2016. 89 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
