Dark ruby in colour with aromas of plum, cherry and cinnamon. It is medium bodied with medium tannins and acidity with flavours of tart cherry, plum and some spice. Tasted on March 11, 2018.

Ripe cherry and smoke greet the nose on this medium bodied Greek blend. I has medium to high acidity and offers up flavours of cherry, clove and cranberry. A lovely blend that would pair well with donair or lamb souvlaki.

Interesting Greek blend aged entirely in stainless steal - I was fooled. Simple fruit aromas, cranberry and blackberries - tart and underripe. Has a unique smoky mineral element.

Tart red fruit on the palate gives the wine vibrance. Short finish, medium - body. Easy drinking, fruit driven wine.

The grapes for this rich yet refreshing un-oaked blend of Merlot (50%), Xinomavro (25%), and Syrah (25%), are sourced from the Cru vineyards of Agios Panteleimon, in Northern Greece. This area is known for its cold winters and warm summers, resulting in high fruit concentration, ripeness, and rich aromas. Aged for eight months in stainless steel and one month in the bottle before release, the tannins are extremely soft and the acidity is refreshing which makes this wine quite food-friendly. With generous red fruit flavours – plum and cherry – some chocolate and spicy notes, this wine is soft and fruity, with enough good acidity to even be paired well with fish, spicy dishes, or poultry, such as quail or Cornish hen. On a hot summer day enjoy it slightly chilled at 54- 58 °F (12-14 °C).

Interesting wine aged entirely in steel tanks for eight months before bottling - no oak ageing. Fresh berries abound and there is a hint of spice; savoury, rough tannins bring structure and interest to this blend.

The Kir-Yianni Vineyard is part of the Boutari family located on the slopes of Mount Vermion. This is an unusual Greek blend of Merlot 50%, Xinomavro 25%, Syrah 25% that are sourced from contract growers in Northwest Greece. It has a purple hue and is quite juicy. A definite "drink now" wine. Aromas of fresh cherry and cinnamon. Medium body with smooth tannins and low acidity. Lots of fruit and some peppery spice on the palate. Tasted March 20, 2017.

Aromas of warm cinnamon, plums, berries, and some pepper. Full bodied, nice acidity, lots of fruit and berry on the palate, more spicy on the finish. Definitely a wine to have with pork, but would stand up to a steak too. Great value.
