Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This wine is smoky and funky and fun featuring lots of ripe red berry fruit, herbs and purple flowers. Taut and tannic but ready to go now with wild fowl. I could drink a bottle of this in the Fall standing around a rotisserie. 90 Points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Greg Hughes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

100%Loire Cabernet Franc. Domaine les Pins has been in the ownership of the same family for five generations. Philippe Pitault-Landry and his family have maintained the integrity of their estate. They're independent of the local co-ops. They maintain traditional growing techniques sensitive to the land and its sustainability.
The colour is violet and ruby, with a watery rim.
Light and bright aromatics. It is very floral. There are some wonderful bergamot, cranberry, cassis, and tomato leaf notes too.
It has a nice, zippy acidity and moderate alcohol (as Bourgueil usually does). Plenty of red fruit. Subtle toasted wood note, followed by red and black berry notes. Cherry, blackberry, and fresh bell pepper.
This is a tasty Bourgueil and a nice choice for lighter fare - a particular favourite is roast duck and root veggies cooked in the fat. This producer has a very prestigious piece of land in Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil - four acres.

Natalie's Review

Domaine Les Pins Les Rochettes Bourgueil 2014, Loire Valley AOP, France: This Loire Valley red wine is made from the Cabernet Franc grape and displays the bell pepper character and some stemminess often associated with this varietal from this region. Full-bodied and tannic with aromas of dark tart cherry. Lots of acidity. Pair with grilled pork chops. Decant 1 hour. Drink: 2017-2020. 478263 13%  750 mL  $17.95 Score: 87/100.
