Jon Steeves rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The 2014 Gamay is vinified with fruit from the Kelowna BC sunrise vineyard. 14.1% declared ABV. Rich and opulent, dense concentration, robust on the palate. Medium bodied, well-balanced, integrated alcohol, medium acidity and tannins. This wine shows ripe figs, sun drenched ripe plums, stewed strawberry, black pepper. Paired well with peppercorn infused salami, antipasti platter, aged cheese platter, toasted crustinis with fruit preserves. Tasted Dec 2016. Rated 90/100.
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Raspberry, blueberry and spice aromas galore. Hints of mocha and gamey notes are revealed on the palate in addition to berry fruit notes. An easy drinking light-medium bodied Gamay with scrumptious acidity. Enjoy pairing with braised buffalo chicken tacos. Tasted Dec 2016 - @sommsosa / bespoketastings.ca

Natalie's Review

The Hatch Hobo Series Gamay 2014, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia BC VQA, Canada: This BC red wine is made from Gamay grapes grown in the winery's Sunrise Vineyard. Vibrant and rich, and a whole heck of a lot more character in Gamay than I've tasted in a while. Fleshy ripe dark red berries and smoke. Pair with grilled chicken. Drink: 2017-2021. 14.10% D 750 mL  $24.99 Score: 91/100. January 8, 2017 Top Rated Red Wine.  Full Review

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
