This wine is a treat for the nostrils! Lots of rich, oaky vanilla, dark fruit, leather, cigar box, cassis and a bit of cedar. On the palate, it is smooth and full-bodied, with raspberry, black cherry, vanilla and smoke. Very drinkable on its own or with red meat. Get it while it's on sale!
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas include an earthy note, dark berry, baking spices, and almost hint of pipe smoke. Smooth, well balanced between dark fruit, oak and smokey spice. A great wine to enjoy with a lovely steak. Great price too!
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Beautiful nose of barnyard and cherry with hints of smoke. The palette is full bodied, smooth, acidic and well balanced. What an absolutely delicious wine!
Bill Wright Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Cherry plum and dark fruits. Full bodied spicy full of black berries. Medium tart finish. I would try a variety of hard cheeses with this
Colin McKone rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This wine displays aromas of cherry, plum, baking spices, cassis and black berry. It is very flavourful with ripe red fruit and spice folowing through on the plate. This a medium to full bodied wine the well balanced tannins and acidity. This will go great with grilled steak or roast beef. A real bargain for the price.
Nick Onischuk rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The Gentleman’s Collection Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 features aromas and flavours of dark berry fruit, plum, and spice. A nice full bodied wine that would pair well with steak. Tasted October 2016 (89/100)
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas of plum, blackberry, wet stone, and backing spices. The taste is a rich, silky repeat of the aroma. Mouth-feel is silky with juts the faintest touch of tannins and medium acidity.

Natalie's Review

Lindemans Gentleman's Collection Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, South Australia, Australia: A terrific, full-bodied Australian red wine made from the classic Cabernet Sauvignon grape. Aromas of cassis, black currant and wild blackberry. This is a special edition wine named in honour of Lindemans Winery founder Dr. Henry Lindeman, who in 1843, with his wife Eliza, planted the first vines in the Hunter Valley, just south of Sydney. I love the old-fashioned label that reminds me of a Victorian sepia toned catalogue featuring Uncle Bertram's Exlirir for What Ales Yee and corsets for the modern woman. Pair with roast beef and yorkshire pudding. Drink: 2017-2020. 461533 14% D 750 mL  $17.95 Score: 92/100. January 8, 2017 Best Value Red Wine. Best Beef Wine  Full Review
