Dark-berry preserves, cedar box, vanilla, cinnamon, clove and black pepper, this big red from Lodi, California is luscious and juicy. Full-bodied and bold with a long, black pepper finish. Tasted November 27, 2016.
Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a big and bold Zin. Opaque ruby in colour, the soft cooked fruit aroma is blended with wisps of fresh soil, and cedar dust. The mixed berry flavours repeat in the mouth and blend with tar and spice. Would pair with barbecues meat or deep fried turkey. Score 90. (Reviewed Nov. 27, 2016).
rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A bold wine on the nose: pepper, bramble, lush dark berries, earth and stewed dark fruit. Full jammy flavours with baking spice on the finish. Pair this with barbecue meats or dark poultry - a leg of turkey, duck or goose.
Matt Steeves rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Earthquake comes in what feels like an earthquake resistant bottle (holy its heavy!), and inside you'll find a rich and bold wine showing ripe crushed raspberries, freshly baked raspberry pie, a medley of dark berries, baking spice, tar and cedar. A very fresh, fruity, and well textured Zinfandel (with a splash of Petite Sirah) that would be earth shattering when paired alongside tangy BBQ fare or even mildly spicy Asian fare such as Thai green curry. Tasted November 2016. 91 points. Matt Steeves

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
