Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Tangy strawberry and cassis, straw, and dried herbs. Juicy red berry flavours, with a medium acidity. Pair with herb rubbed pork chops.
Jacky Blisson rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Medium, translucent ruby in colour. Intense, jammy red and black berries are underscored by tea leaf notes on the nose. Nice balance on the palate, with fresh acidity, and minty flavours lifting the ripe, jammy fruit core. Medium body, smooth texture and silky tannins. Very easy drinking. Warm alcohol; serve chilled.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Raspberry and floral notes with some sour cherry flavor on the palate. High acidity but lacking complexity in the flavor. BBQ ribs or spicy beef chili might help draw out the flavors.
Colin McKone rated this wine as 82/100 with the following review:

Aromas of cooked strawberries, raspberries, plum with some vegetal notes with a sour cherry finish. Full bodied with high tannins and medium-high levels of acidity. Foods such as strong cheeses and BBQ grilled meats should improve it.
Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

Medium intensity bouquet of red fruit, flowers, and mild strawberry jam. High acidity, medium tannins red Zinfandel with a medium sour finish.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
