Gwen Barton rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Med-full bodied Shiraz. Fruit forward with notes of mint, olive and some black pepper on the finish. Ample tannins, yet well balanced. Definitely drinkable, however could benefit by cellaring for a few years. Pair with strong cheese or lamb stew. Tasted Sept 2017.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This is dark inky color. Bit of mint on the nose, slight medicinal tone. There is an acid backbone, tannins are relatively smooth, however fruit on the palate has receded. Overall mouth feel is weighty and smooth. Tasted Jan 2017

Jacky Blisson rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Deep, inky purple in colour. Heady fruit-driven aromas on the nose with grapey, baked dark berry fruit and eucalyptus. Great balance is offered on the palate, with the vibrant fruit offset nicely by zesty acidity, a dense, full bodied structure and firm tannins. An hour in a carafe would allow this well crafted red to unwind.
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Holy eucalyptus! I expect a wine with such pungent eucalyptus aromatics to come with a koala attached to it. The aromas show inviting notes of eucalyptus, mint leaf, licorice black plum, and black cherry. The palate is off-dry, chewy (young tannins) and mouthwatering. Flavours are an exact repeat of the aromas with added notes of cedar, vanilla, and a touch (steely) minerality. This Shiraz is full bodied with a long minted-berry finish and grippy tannins. This can afford to sit for another 5-7 years. It is interesting to see how much it would develop/change. Enjoy pairing with grilled lamb chops. Tasted July 2016. @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca

Natalie's Review

Best's Wines Pty Ltd Bin No. 1 Shiraz 2013, Great Western, Victoria, Australia: Blackberry and fleshy black plum aromas on the nose with some mint, and a savoury mouth-watering note on the palate. Full-bodied and generous. Supple and smooth. Grilled pork chops please! This wine is robust yet it also has terrific balance, the result of its cool-climate origins. This wine will go the distance.
