Greg Hughes reviewed this wine as follows:

Both this Riesling and the Pinot Gris in their lineup, are sourced from Waipara, a region slightly north of Cantebury. People are already very familiar with New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. It is a shame that there are so few examples of Riesling making it to the international market from NZ. It is A natural fit for a region renowned for super fruity, aromatic whites.
Delicate aromatics. Moderate acidity, for a Riesling. This is a very easy going Riesling, for those looking to explore Riesling, but want a really soft-core version. There is a touch of residual sugar, but still very dry.
White fleshed peach, table grape, spun sugar, and golden apple build out the aromas. The flavours revolve around vanilla cream, peach, and nectarine. Light and youthful. This would pair very nicely with sushi.

Thornbury Riesling 2015, Auckland, Waipara, New Zealand: My absolute favourite of this tasting of Thornbruy wines! Aromatic and bursting with white peach, lime zest, and wet stone. Racy acidity for shellfish. Oh loveliness. Drink: 2016-2019. 12% D 750 mL  $18.95 Score: 93/100. August 3, 2016 Best Value White Wine.  Full Review

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
