What a wine for the price. This wine is more complex than most Rosés, not only featuring primary aromas of strawberry, ripe raspberry, currant jam and rhubarb, but also secondary aromas of spice, dried citrus peel and dried flowers. Fantastic. 89 Points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)

This rosé, made of gamay, syrah, cabernet and négrette (a native grape in the Fronton region of southwestern France) smells of red apple and wild strawberry, as well as a hint of spice and subtle citrus. On the mouth it's dry, with more of the same characteristics, in addition to red currant and cranberry.

Wild strawberry aromas with a little cranberry and a touch of spearmint. The taste is light, fresh, and very summery. For something different, try this with some soft cheese and crackers.

Moderately pink in hue this clear, bright wine exhibits shy, watermelon, pansies, honey dew melon, and red berry fruit. This wonderful rosé is medium bodied and sports medium - high acidity. In the mouth, flavours of watermelon, tangerine, honey dew, touch of cranberry reveal themselves. Great balance between fruit and acidity here. La Forêt will pair well with baked lightly breaded pork chops, served with grilled watermelon.

A nice dry, fruity summer drinking wine. Lots of ripe berries on the nose and a long finish of strawberries and herbs. Great on its own or paired with grilled seafood or a shrimp salad.
