Old vines gamay with medium plus body, medium plus fine tannins, cherry, red berry, cranberry. Silky mouthfeel, grippy tannins, a pleasant surprise. @jonsteeves rated 88/100 - bespoketastings.ca
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A hearty Gamay Noir from the Julienas Crus Beaujolais. Dominant notes include spice, pepper, wet stone minerality and cranberry. Enjoy pairing this medium-bodied, grippy, high acid red wine with stews and braises. Tasted Oct 2016. @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Medium purple, and surprisingly dark for a Gamay. The aromas are bright and include cherry, banana, blueberry. Mouth-feel is silky, has a little fine tannin, and the taste is mainly tart cherry. Great acidity.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
