Greg Hughes reviewed this wine as follows:

Sebastiani are a fairly prominent winery from Sonoma. A little over a century old, the family has slowly grown the interestes and brand of the namesake winery; through the depression, through their expansion into Central Valley with Turner Road, , and through a recent shift to focus on premium category wines. This Chardonnay is at their entry level, in price. It's ripe, moderately oakey, and easy to appreciate.
The colour is a delicate, pale lemon-yellow.
The aromas have a heavy autolytic pastry dough and apple tart quality. There's plenty of yellow plum, fuji apple, honey, dried banana, and a smokey barrel-char quality.
The flavours have surprising freshness in the acids, considering the heavy style. Apple crumble, honey, and smoke. The oak dials in pretty heavily on the midpalate.
Not too shabby at all. Pair it with bacon wrapped scallops, brown butter mushrooms, or popcorn.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
