Jon Steeves rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Rich, robust, full bodied, highly concentrated. Inky, big grippy tannins. These tannins will settle down with further aging 5-15 years out. Long finish with persistence of blackberry, cassis, savoury, baking spices. Paired well with rare filet mignon and roasted root vegetables. Tasted 2013 vintage in March 2018, decanted 3h. 92 points
Simon Chen rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This Merlot based blend from south Okanagan reminds me a lot of a Bordeaux blend that I recently tasted, “2010 Ronan by Clinet”. Nose is floral and dark berry aroma. Juice and tannin are powerful when first opened, but very well integrated after 5 hours of breathing. Fine tannin, dense mid-palate with a medium to long finish. Still young, should age well in the next 5 years (P).

Natalie's Review

Culmina Family Estate Winery Hypothesis 2013, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia BC V.Q.A., Canada: A plush, round, supple BC red wine blend of 38% Merlot, 36% Cabernet Franc and 26% Cabernet Sauvignon. Hypothesis is the winery's nod to their best guess or hypothesis as to what the land can offer, and the specific blend of grapes, each year. The 2013 vintage was slightly warmer than 2012 and it shows in earlier accessibility and roundness for drinking now. Aromas of wild cassis and fresh blackberry. Pair with grilled rib-eye steak or roasted pheasant. Drink: 2016-2020. 414243 13% XD 750 mL  $47.95 Score: 92/100. July 3, 2018 Top Rated Red Wine. Best Beef Wine  Full Review

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
