Matt Steeves rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Big & bold in every way. From California's largest Boutique Winery, Rodney Strong's highly acclaimed single vineyard Brothers Ridge Cabernet (from the Alexander Valley in Sonoma County) is a deep ruby red colour, and comprised of 99% Cabernet and 1% Petit Verdot. This 2012 Cab is loaded with complex juicy dark fruit, cassis, dark chocolate, espresso, and sweet baking spices. Quite simply put, it's absolutely gorgeous and for those that love soft and jammy Cabs this is the one for you! Enjoy over the next decade and beyond. A great gifting wine as it's primed and ready for immediate enjoyment now, yet patience will reward those that tuck it away for medium to long term cellaring. Tasted February 2016. 94 points - Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
