Oh so rich and smooth is this Riesling Icewine. Loads of apricot and peach aromas to fill a room. Add to that aromas and flavours of oxidized apple, honey, white blossoms, juicy peach, minerality, sweet baking spices and a lift of petrol. The sweet ending goes on for what seems like forever. Refreshing acidity helps cleanse the palate. I would only pair this with salty cheeses or overly rich desserts. This is dessert on it's own. Follow it with coffee.

Sweet and luscious! A gorgeous Riesling Icewine from one of the top Icewine producing regions of the world, Ontario, Canada. Succulent stone fruit, honey, petrol, with spicy notes are all balanced with great acidity leaving a long sweet and clean finish. Enjoy with rich desserts or full flavoured cheese (my favourite for this wine, Blue Haze). Tasted February 2016. 94 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
