Perfect special occasion wine! Delicated and persistent creamy mousse. Essence of green apple, lemon zest, toast, nuts, warm fresh baked bread, baking spices. Light-bodied with lively acidity that opens the taste buds and preps them for another sip. This Champagne will leave you wondering " does it get any better than this?" Sip on it's own as a toast or...just because. *sigh*

This is the Oscar-winning movie star in the line-up! Aromas of juicy red apples, toasted almonds, baked pears, and a hint of citrus notes. Consistent and plentiful bubbles that keep on giving. Never a disappointment. Time to celebrate? Pop! Fizz...

Tasted January 2016.

Great way to start a tasting session! Beautiful, elegant bubbly with generous, fine mousse; lime-zesty, biscuit, barely-there yeastiness and a long, lingering finish. Champers for a celebration!

"A party in your mouth" - is exactly what this Champagne tastes like. Hints of lemon, and floral on the nose….and on the palate - an inherent richness with flavors of citrus and floral intertwined with a flurry of dancing bubbles. Simply put, it is delicious. Well done.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Aromas of bread, almonds and citrus. The palate offers sweet apple crisp, peach and some citrus. A wonderful Champagne that will be crowd pleasing for all occasions.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

A pretty pale straw Champagne, and a great example of one done very well. Aromas of pear, biscuit, minerality, and green apple, brought to your node by the tiniest of bubbles. Bright acidity with flavours of green apple and pear, and a touch of sweeter apricot. A good champagne like this pairs well with just about anything. Spoil yourself; try it with bacon and eggs for breakfast on a special day.
Matt Steeves rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

A gorgeous vintage Champagne, with a touch of sweetness, making it ideal to enjoy with celebratory toasts. Fresh and lively, the sweet orchard fruit is front and centre, melon and honeysuckle, followed by sweet almond croissant. Balanced, with lovely fresh fruit and baked bread on the long finish. A very persistent mousse that cleanses the palate and leaving the taster craving the next sip. A beautiful crowd-pleasing vintage Champagne. Highly recommended. 93+ points. Monique Sosa rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Here we have an alluring and beautifully crafted Champagne by Taittinger. This sparkling wine pours with a brilliant pale gold appearance and hundreds of fine pearlescent bubbles. Predominant aromas include baked apple, apricot purée, citrus blossoms and freshly baked almondine croissants. The palate shows a mouthwatering acidity balanced with an off-dry sweetness, a rich mouthfeel and a refreshing finish. The predominant flavours include: green apple, apricot, orange peel and crisp minerality. This is a fine bottle that pairs well with celebrating monumentous occassions: be it a wedding toast, milestone birthday or anniversary. Also, traditional method sparkling wines, especially Taittinger, pairs very well with oysters and sashimi. Tasted Jan 2016.
Valérie Dufour rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

The nose is complex with aromas of green apple and croissant. The mouth is full with minerality and acidity and serves as a reminder that champagne can age beautifully and that vintage champagne are made for the table. Would be great with coquille saint-jacques.
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Wow…
Presentation: Classic bottle, elegant.
Appearance: Light yellow
Nose: Slate, light citrus and floral notes
Taste: A million tiny bubbles exploding in the mouth with lemon notes in the back.
Finish: A nice lemon finish.
Overall impression: A nice synergy between the bubbles and the lemons. Will pair with whatever you want. But drink it on its own; it will be well worth it.
Value: 4 out of 5

This is a wonderfully elegant vintage Champagne, brilliant pale straw, 12.5% ABV, fine persistent bubbles. With aromatics of lime zest, yeast, a hint of grapefruit and hazelnut. Long finish with persistence of bread, nut, lime. This wine is built to enjoy and is ready to age further offering continued evolution. Tasted Jan 2016. Enjoy 2016-2022.
