Neil Phillips rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Slightly floral on the nose, with heavy red fruits, cedar, some cigar butts.

Easy-drinking in style and fairly well integrated with lots of raspberry, black plums, strawberries. Smooth with softer acids and tannins.

Tasted October 2018.
Lise Charest Gagne rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Acidity so balanced it could walk a tightrope? Yep I agree Ravenswood! This is a big juicy wine. Blueberry, ripe blackberry / raspberries, rich herbs, spice and a tease of vanilla on the nose! It's not jammy it's bright. Clean same big bold yet bright fruit, smoke, dark chocolate, black coffee with a long satisfying smoke and spice finish. Taste bud teaser for sure! Loads of fruit on this one. Enjoyed in Sept 2017 with some hand crafted pizza topped with San marzano tomatoes, organic garlic and prosciutto.
Jon Steeves rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Loved this accessibly priced Old vine Lodi Zinfandel. Tasted the 2014 vintage in May 2017. Declared 14.5% abv. Great balance, medium acidity, medium tannins, medium plus fruit with integrated alcohol. Blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, moderate spicy oak, and a hint of canned black olive. Great value. Very versatile pairing, try this with BBQ ribs, steak, chicken. Easily enjoyable on it's own. 91 points. BespokeTastings
Lynn van der Linde rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Heady aromas of black currant, vanilla and cedar, mouth watering red berry flavours, with balanced tannin and acidity, making this versatile with a variety of foods, especially creamy pasta dishes.
Tasted May 2017.
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A zin a notch above the crowd - this one comes bearing refreshing acidity along with the requisite black cherry, black currant, blueberry, spice and hint of vanilla. Very enjoyable and not overly assertive. Should be great with a range of food.
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Intense red in colour with aromas of red fruit. Medium- to full-bodied and smooth on the palette with tastes of blackberry, cinnamon and spice. Suggest decanting for 2 hours. I would buy half a case of this wine and open a bottle a year and see how it evolves. Great steak wine!

Ravenswood Old Vine Zinfandel 2014 is a must try for those who love Zinfandel. This full bodied wine features aromas and flavours of cherry, plum, dark berry fruit, and spice. Tasted October 2016 (90/100)
Cherie Cole rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lots of juicy, ripe red and black fruit on the nose and palate with the perfect touch of cinnamon and clove. Full-bodied and delicious. Pair with rare, red meat or grilled meats with sweet BBQ sauce. Tasted Oct. 02, 2016.
Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Translucent deep ruby. Fresh plums and blueberry jam. Medium tannins. Herbaceous entry with light toasty smoke and eucalyptus and a tart finish. Great acidity that will balance well with hard and sharp cheeses.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lots of smokiness in the aroma with some black fruit lingering within it. The palate brings out blueberry, plum and vanilla notes with some herb and a touch of chocolate. The smokiness rounds out the finish. An excellent wine for BBQ ribs.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Medium ruby with lots of smoky blueberry in the aromas as well as cherry and plum. Lots of fruit, but layered in with a smooth smokiness. The mouth-feel is smooth, with a little tannin, very rounded. Flavours are blueberry and plum. The finish is spicy plum and very long. A very rich wine that is still approachable for a lot of dishes.
Frank Colonna rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Great stuff
Jane Staples rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

If you're a Zinfandel fan, you'll love this Lodi blend of 77% Zinfandel and 23% Petite Syrah. Lots of blueberries, vanilla, herbal touches and smoke starts things off with a bang, then the palate unfolds juicy blueberries, plums, black cherry, cocao, vanilla, spice, slight herbaceous tomato stem and smoke. Tight acidity and smooth tannins lead to a long smokey finish. Let this one decant for 30 minutes to allow the fruit flavours to blossom. Enjoy this with roast herb-crusted lamb, duck or venison.
