Heather Wall rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

The Chateauneuf-du-Pape appellation is vast and extends over varying altitudes and exposures to the river but the terrain is characterized by the large pebbles, or galets, which cover the vineyards. This CdP is a complex beautiful wine. It is bountiful in fruit, cherry cordial, leather, tobacco. Rich and smooth wrapped in balanced acidity. The finish goes on forever. This is a wine to enjoy today or let it reward you over the next 10 years. Pair with finer cuts of red meats, game, assorted hard cheeses.
Tasted: August 2015
Matt Steeves rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

A beautiful Chateauneuf-du-Pape which is a blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre grapes that were grown on boulder covered vineyards. The sweet summer spices, herbs, and dried fruits on the nose and palate are wrapped-up beautifully with super smooth tannins and a velvty rich finish. A fantastic wine to enjoy over the next 10-20 years. Tasted August 2015. 94 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
