Marcia J. Hamm rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Surprisingly fantastic wine from Bertrand! Affordable too at $27.95 on the Alberta market. Full and lush with dark viscosity on the glass and an unctuous mouth feel. Lots of ripe blackberries and black currents with obvious wood spice tannins and hints of smoke. Absolutely delicious! Drink now to 2021.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
