Courtney Flood rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A bold style chardonnay from Quebec. Aromas of buttered popcorn, vanilla, apple, white pepper and minerality. Intense oak and spice flavour with a long vanilla finish. Pairs beautifully with Balderson Vitners old cheddar for white wine, with the tangy creaminess of the cheese taming the oakiness of the wine and bringing out more fruit notes such as pineapple.
Jane Staples rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A rich nose of buttered toast, vanilla and mild tropical fruit. The palate shows floral notes, buttered toast, vanilla and oak . Rich creamy mouthfeel and a long buttered toast finish.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
