Neil Phillips rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Riesling sparkling offers a much more fruit-forward profile, and Tawse's offering is a well-made example that delivers.

On the nose, several variety of apples mingle (golden delicious and green and Spartan), with subdued honeysuckle notes. Lime zest is there, and some fresh bread.

On the palate, nice zippy acidity, and follows through from the nose nicely. Lots of apple, some minerality on the finish, persistent medium-fine mousse. Nice long citrus finish.

With a bit of extra time in bottle, I find the fruit has integrated a bit more than the 2014.

Tasted February 2016.
Matt Steeves rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Sparkling Rieslings are such a great bubbly to share with any crowd. Tawse's 2013 Limestone Ridge Riesling sparkling wine from the Twenty Mile Bench in Ontario shows a beautiful harmony of minerality with semi-sweet honey and orchard fruit notes. The palate is dry and refreshing with more stone minerality and tart apple notes on the crisp and clean finish. Enjoy with rich german cuisine, such as schnitzel, sausages and sauerkraut. Tasted November 2015. 89 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Wineboy rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely aromatics but not the agressive Riesling aromas one might expect but offers tree fruits instead. Crisp but acidity have been nicely kept in check. Clearly a new world bubbly with a fruit dominated reply on the palate - pear and apple.

Natalie's Review

Tawse Winery Inc. Spark Limestone Ridge Riesling 2013, Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: Bright and zesty with lime-alive aromas and toasty bread. Great value and quality for the price of this Ontario sparkling wine. Finishes with a lick lemon zest. This Niagara bubbly is made from Riesling from the winery's Limestone Ridge Estate Vineyard. This is a great gift wine or pair it with shellfish. Drink: 2014-2017. 370361 12% D 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 91/100. December 12, 2015 Top Rated Sparkling Wine. Sensational Shellfish Wine  Full Review
