Bought for the bottle - which is beautiful btw, however, this wine is just as stunning. Pretty pink in colour, this blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah is light and refreshing on the palate with a nice light fruit on the tongue.

The first time I ever bought this wine it was for the bottle. It's just so darn pretty! Now I can tell you that the pretty coral juice inside the bottle is delicious. A delicate blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah with attractive aromas and flavours of rose water, strawberry, citrus with some lively acidity. A good medium weight Rose. Pair with favourite pasta in a cream tomato sauce; seafood chowder; pork. Hits that magic price point of less than $20. Serve chilled.

A pretty coral rosé in decorative bottle, blended from Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah. There's a lovely strawberry nose followed by a refreshing palate showing ripe strawberries, watermelon, lemon and herbal touches, dry and zippy acidity and an herbal finish. Delightful on a sizzling hot summer day.

Gérard Bertrand Côte Des Roses Rosé 2014, Languedoc, Midi A.P., France: This lovely southern French rosé is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah grapes. It's elegant, yet full-bodied for rosé and very satisfying. Freshness is everything in this wine. Grenache is ideal for rosé because it matures easily and quickly, has vibrant aromatics, yet keeps its zesty acidity for food. This grape has a short vegetative cycle and yields enough for production while keeping the fresh character. The bottle for this rosé was created in a competition for students at design schools in Paris. There is actually a rose shape and cut to the glass on bottom, as well as an elegant glass stopper on the top. pair with planked salmon or seared tuna.
