Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Blackberry, plum and oak scents with a bit of vanilla and spice on the taste.
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Aromas in this blend include smoke, blueberry, strawberry and oak. Some green or young vegetal flavours come through on the palate, along with fruit, berries and smoke. Try decanting for an hour or two and enjoy this with smoky cheeses, or some ribs on the BBQ.
Jane Staples rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A tasty Cab/Merlot blend with an inviting nose of strawberries and blueberries. The palate shows these berry flavours along with vanilla and cloves and a little oak. Smooth mouthfeel and a long berry finish.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Very fruit forward nose, with jammy aromas of blackberry, raspberry, blueberry, vanilla and pepper. Taste is more fresh raspberry, bell pepper, and a touch astrigent. We tasted this wine against many (inappropriate) cheeses. Much too heavy for mozzarella, goat, or creamy cheeses. For blue cheese, the wine amplifies the bitterness in the cheese. This would be best suited to an aged cheddar, gouda, or parmesan. Would also be good with BBQ fair, something cooked with a little sugar in the sauce.
Tania Thomas rated this wine as 82/100 with the following review:

Dry, full bodied, blackcurrants on the nose, burst of ripe black cherries on the palate followed by a long lingering leather & coco finish. Fine tannins. Best matched with juicy grilled sausages, lovely with aged cheddar.
Sean O'Regan rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Medium ruby, intense nose with sweet cherry, candied/jammy notes, berry, vanilla, oak spice, green herb. In the mouth there is sour cherry, plum, herb/vegetal, oak spice, vanilla, green tannins on a medium drying finish. Seems a bit rustic - try decanting or wait a few years to allow it to integrate a bit better. Burgers, BBQ or aged cheddar for this one. Tasted June 6, 2015
