Made of 100% Cabernet Franc.

Light salmon color with notes of strawberry jam, rose flower, orange peel and cherry.

The wine is fresh, rich and short.

Pair it with shrimp linguine or take it like aperitif.

Serve it at 8-10 degrees.

With summer right around the corner Remy Pannier Rosé D'anjou 2013 offers a fruity, light bodied and fresh affordable alternative to pricey Rosés. With a rich almost amber like colour, it presents perfectly and would be well suited to be served as a stand alone at parties, BBQ's and any other social event this season. Although clean and delicate, the tart fruit and acidic kick make for a perfect palette cleaner for summery grilled meats, salads and desserts.
Alex & Priya rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Priya: We're told 2014 was an easier year due to more rain and better conditions for the grapes. The 2013 vintage of this wine was lovely and so is the 2014! It's a perfect rose, fruity with nice acidity and then just enough sweetness to woo both men and women. Hey--real men drink rose don't they Alex? 92pts
Alex: They sure do--real men drink anything of quality! The 2014 is much more floral, brighter and livelier. Very sunny and fresh on the palate with fields of strawberries, spring flowers and cherries and a hint of rhubarb. 87pts
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A lovely delicate nose of cherry and strawberries. Light bodied, dry and refreshing. Lovely on a warm summer day.
Lynn van der Linde rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Enticing aromas of strawberries carry through on the palate with refreshing grapefruit, making this a wonderful pairing for cream dishes on on it's own!
Donna Hargrove rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Lovely light pink colour with fresh strawberry aroma. Pleasant flavours of citrus and strawberry coat the tongue. Slightly sweet finish.

Definitely a summer wine! I'm picturing a patio, gentle breezes, seaside vistas and a plate of fruit and white cheeses.

Mmmmm so yummy! Have no fear folks, it's dry and it's delicious! This rosé is just a bowl full of fresh strawberries, raspberries, and Watermelon sprinkled with some lemon zest. Light bodied, high acidity (hence the dryness) and a crisp short finish. I enjoy this as is, sip after sip, I imagine it's terrific with seafood - say tuna tartare... sashimi ?
Wine nerd alert: Rosé from Anjou (AOC Loire) is made from Cabernet Franc.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Pale salmon with fragrant aromas of strawberries, minerality and candied strawberry marshmallows. There's a nice light-bodied mouth-feel, bright acidity, and a repeat of the aromas. This is a great wine to enjoy all on it's own.
Olivier de Maisonneuve rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

Blushing bride colored rosé Lightly crushed strawberry and pink grapefruit nose. A hint of sugar in the mouth. Fruity and simple, good by itself or with creamy patés. Maybe with a grilled squid salad? Ideal while lounging in your chaise-longue, working on your 2015 tan line.
