Cherie Cole rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Strawberry preserves, red cherry tart. Lovely summer wine to pair with salads or brunch on a hot day. Tasted April 3, 2016.
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Light to medium body. Aromas of tart cherry and a bit of pepper. Bright acidity, tart cherry really comes through on the palate. Pepper on the finish. A good option for turkey with cranberry sauce.
Alex & Priya rated this wine as 74/100 with the following review:

Priya: Smells like candy and cinnamon spices that's fading. I can also smell the alcohol which I don't like. Very light tasting with a slight salty aftertaste. Seems too dry on the palate - there aren't any of the flavors I enjoy here. 72 pts

Alex: Juicy nose of cranberry, bubblegum and cherry pie. Very light, simple juicy gamay. Quite sour in the back end with some chalk on the finish. Would bode well with brie cheese.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Bright aromas of red cherries and strawberries, with a touch of vanilla, lead to a light fruity cherry taste with medium+ acidity. The strawberry shows a little stronger in the finish. A nice summer wine with salads, sandwich meats, and roast chicken.
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 83/100 with the following review:

Light in body, subtle fruitiness.

Natalie's Review

Georges Duboeuf Gamay 2012, Beaujolais-Villages, France: Lots of bright, mouth-watering in this smooth, medium-bodied French red wine made from Gamay grapes. Tart cherry aromas make a pleasing companion to chicken sandwiches, pate or field greens. Drink: 2013-2016. 122077 12.50% D 750 mL  $13.95 Score: 87/100. Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
