Jane Staples rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A full-bodied blend of 40% Touriga Nacional, 40% Touriga Franca, 20% Tinta Roriz. Made from old-vine grapes(45yrs.), showing dark fruit, baking spice and mocha aromas and flavours with long spicy fruit finish. Enjoy with game, hard cheeses.

This mid-weight, fairly dense, smooth red shows very deep colour. The nose blooms with violets, sweet candied plum fruit and a touch of oak. Very floral actually. It's quite mellow but nicely contained by fine tannin; with very good to excellent length. Give it two years. A charmer, but may hold well in the cellar. Tasted February 2015

Natalie's Review

Delaforce Real Companhia Velha Touriga Nacional 2012, Douro D.O.C., Portugal: A full-bodied, generous Portuguese red wine with mocha and toasty oak on the nose. Black plum and raspberry with dark spices on the mid-palate and finish. Long finish on this D.O.C. wine. There's been a revolution in dry red wines from Portugal: try this one and you'll know what I'm talking about. This particular wine hails from a well-known producer of port, the fortified dessert wine. Drink: 2014-2018. 324517 14% XD 750 mL  $22.95 Score: 92/100. February 21, 2015 Top Rated Red Wine. Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
