Neil Phillips rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Classic Aussie Shiraz with a twist.

Dense nose of dark fruits, mint, leather, allspice.

On the palate it starts off all fruit, but more stewed than jammy, and with a strong savoury backbone that makes this more fruit-friendly than many. Black pepper is slightly subdued. Tannins medium-plus.

Tastes April 2014.
Heather Wall rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Smooth, deep ruby with lofts of dark fruit, stewed strawberry, sweet cigar, pepper, prune, leather, cloves. Medium acidity. Lingering warm fruit driven finish. Good with a BBQ hamburger with all the trimmings. Enjoy now.
Tasted: February 2015
Jane Staples rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Inky, perfumey, ripe red fruit and prunes on the nose. The full-bodied palate shows prunes, stewed red fruit, ripe raspberries and spice. Very smooth mouthfeel with soft tannins and a stewed fruit finish.

Full-bodied and savoury and smooth. Good structure. Try it with a pepper steak. Drink: 2013-2017. 27383 14.50% D 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 90/100. February 7, 2015 Luscious Lamb Wine  Full Review
