Crisp and extra-dry with mouth-watering acidity dancing off against the herbal /grassy/citrus lime notes. Pair with grilled garlic shrimp.
Tasted June 2017
Claria Calderone rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Just enjoyed this wine with lunch today. I must say I am a devoted, Kim Crawford Sauvignon fan, but this Whitehaven has me second guessing myself. I think it was the fact the wine is refreshing on the palate with a clean finish which lasts a while. Subtle and clean it its finish, myself and my guests equally enjoyed it with our different meal choices. It's a perfect 'go-to' wine for a luncheon. I sensed peach accents with every sip and a pleasant and not too strong tropical fruit aroma. It's truly a yummy wine to say the least. Thumbs up!
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Pretty aromas of asparagus, lime, and gooseberry and loads of minerailty. Very racy acidity. Great wine with seafood.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Aromas of asparagas and grapefruit. Flavor offers grapefruit and some tropical fruit. Very crisp and acidic.
Kristin Perrin rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Classic gooseberry / limey nose
Light, Fresh zippy acidity, lingering finish

White fish with lemon and light herbs, and a Greek salad.

You like Sauvignon blanc from NZ? This is for you. Nose of grapefruit and freshly cut grass and mouth full of acidity and life.
