Clear, lemon colour in the glass. Intense aromas of pineapple, mango, citrus, smoke, oak, and a funky greenery. Warming alcohol over the tropical fruit driven flavours. Medium+ acidity.Light-bodied. Long alcohol finish. Pair with shellfish, grilled tuna or salmon, herb encrusted chicken. Drink now.

Mulderbosch Chenin Blanc 2012, Western Cape W.O., South Africa: This is a great example South African Chenin Blanc with seductive aromas of Asian pear and something I can only describe as black apricot. Oak imparts baked bread and wraps this wine beautifully. Baking spices on the finish of this exotically wonderful wine. Pair with mild curries.
