Listened to podcast on this varietal: Guild of Sommeliers wine podcasts - Napa History - Roundtable discussion with Tim Mondavi (Continuum),John Williams( Frogs Leap) Kelli White(Press Restaurant).
All these wines are likely to be good. They are considered to be the essence of Italian wines.
Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Straw yellow colour with golden hints, the nose reveals intense and persistent perfumes of wild flowers and yellow pulp fruit, peach, apricot and golden apple. On the palate its a rich and velvety wine, tasting fresh and full bodied perfectly balanced. The soft dry finish is persistent and fruit driven.

Natalie's Review

Umani Ronchi Casal di Serra dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore Verdicchio 2011, Marche D.O.C., Italy: Love the white citrus and grapefruit notes on the nose and then there's with less acidity on the palate than I expected. Nicely balanced, almost soft with a medium body. Very food friendly. Drink: 2014-2016. 268169 13% D 750 mL  $17.95 Score: 88/100. March 29, 2014 Venerated Vegetarian Wine  Full Review

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
