A balanced wine with a continuum of flavour throughout of chocolate and mocha flavours clasping raspberry and blackberry fruits. A rich sweet mid-palate and finish are firmed by ripe, prominent tannins.

I love the inviting nearly opaque, dark colour on this wine. I find that there is a bit of a struggle with the dark fruits and wood notes, eg. plum & blackberry vs. mint & vanilla. Tannins are soft and the acidity is in check. Enjoy this 2012 vintage now or within the next two years.
