2013 - too sweet for me. From Katie and Dave.
Heather Wall rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A lively expression of Ontario Riesling. Pale lemon colour. Clean Medium intensity aromas of apple juice, oxidized apple, pear, blossom, petrol and duplicated on the palate.
Dry with Medium+ acidity this is a classic Ontario Riesling.
This wine has a medium+ length on a cleansing/refreshing finish.
Enjoy now, not suitable for further ageing.
I'm leading toward fatty meat appetizers ie. salami, proscuitto, Italian sausage, Bratwurst on a bun.

Tasted - July 2014
Nick Onischuk rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Wayne Gretzky Estates No.99 Riesling 2012 is a beautiful wine on the nose and pleasing on the palate. Apple, peach and floral aromas that carry through to the mouth. Nice long finish. (89/100) Tasted on July 14, 2014
Chris Coughlin rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Very good example of an Ontario Riesling, Dry long lasting flavours of citrus, apple, and plastic pool toy (yup, I said that).
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Minerality, petrol, yellow apple, apricot, and white flower dominates the scent. The taste is yellow apple, with a bit of white grapefruit. Nice fruity mouth-feel with crisp acidity. An excellent win with a plate of summer fruits, especially melon, or perhaps some soft cheeses.

I had to ask myself if Mr. Gretzky will ever find a wine to back that can score a 99?

Natalie's Review

Wayne Gretzky Estates No. 99 Riesling 2012, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, Canada: This medium-bodied white wine is wonderfully concentrated in flavour without a trace of heaviness on the weight. Here's minerality if you've been wondering what the heck that is. The quality designation for this wine is VQA. Aromas of peach, dry apricot and lime. Some kind of wonderful! Refreshing finish. Incredible value for the price. Drink: 2014-2017. 144865 11.30% XD 750 mL  $11.95 Score: 89/100. July 16, 2014 Best Value White Wine. Remarkable Roast Chicken Wine  Full Review
