Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 83/100 with the following review:

A decent Cabernet Franc...
Presentation: A clean, modern looking label
Appearance: Medium ruby red
Nose: Sour berries, leather
Taste: Green peppers, leather, sour berries, and significant acidity. Somewhat strong on the alcohol even if 13% is stated on the label. I had it with turkey, baked squash, and steamed vegetables. I admit the pairing was not as good as I had hoped. I suggest pairing it with red meat. I tried it with dark chocolate, but struck out here, too. Cheese might have been a better option.
Finish: Long alcohol, sour, and leather.
Overall impression: I can see the traditional Cabernet Franc structure coming out, and it has an interesting mix of leather and sour berry notes. A decent Cabernet Franc but not my favourite.
Value: 2 out of 5
Nick Onischuk rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Natalie's Review

Tawse Winery Inc. Grower's Blend Cabernet Franc 2011, Niagara Escarpment, Ontario VQA, Canada: This full-bodied red wine is smooth and offers chocolate-mocha on the nose from oak aging followed by plush black plums and a supple, medium- to full-bodied weight and texture on the palate. Nice example of cool-climate cabernet franc. Drink: 2012-2015. 284570 13% XD 750 mL  $26.95 Score: 90/100. November 9, 2013 Top Rated Red Wine.  Full Review
