The 2010 Mendel Malbec has intense aromas of charred wood, cigar box, clove and black cherry. It is a medium bodied, extra-dry, fruity to integrated wine; with forward acidity, tight tannins (decant for 30-60 min) and a medium to long finish. This is a sipping wine; drink 2014 – 2018 (cellaring potential +1 pt). My impression: NICE to BEAUTIFUL, 90(+1) pts – recommended for its quality. Tasted Nov/13.

Mendel Malbec 2010, Mendoza, Argentina: Tannic with tart black fruit. Aromas of varied dark fruits, smoke and cedar. Full-bodied: decant 2 hours.
