Ruby in colour, this complex wine has flavours of blueberry, red cherry, raspberry, black pepper, clove, forest floor, leather, cedar, coffee, and mint, with a chalk minerality.
This rich wine coats the palate with its rich fruit and tannin structure on the long, warming finish.
Drink now or cellar for 2-3 years to allow the tannins to soften.
Pair with charcuterie, pizza, pasta, and red meats from the grill.

Delicious! Chianti lovers rejoice! Medium ruby colour and developing aromas of strawberry, cherry, plum, blueberry, cloves, coffee, pepper, cedar, eucalyptus, vanilla. This wine packs power with each sip. Grainy tannic mouthfeel cherry aroma changes to sour cherry as well as strawberry compote, leather, black pepper, dust,garrigue, chalky minerality. This wine has enough fruit, tannin and acidity to age further(2-3 yrs) but can be enjoyed now. Lingering warm fruit driven finish. XD Decanting suggested.

Toscolo Riserva Chianti Classico 2007, D.O.C.G., Tuscany, Italy: Lovely! Mocha but not too much, just a warming edge along with fleshy black plum. Full-bodied and almost smooth (nothing that 2 hours of decanting can't solve). Layered and delicious. Drink: 2013-2018. 69369 13% XD 750 mL $24.95 Score: 91/100.
