Jane Staples rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This Chardonnay shows so well Oatley's winemaking priorities of maximizing fruit expression and wine texture. Stone fruit and melon , w subtle oak on the nose lead to lovely pinapple and fresh fig on palate, creamy oak and vanilla and a long finish. Try this with lobster or baked salmon; everyone at your table will be smiling!
Nick Onischuk rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Tic Toc Pocketwatch Chardonnay 2012 has beautiful aromas and flavours of tropical fruit, apple and a toast. This full bodied wine delivers great value for the price. Tasted January 16, 2014 (88/100)
Matt Steeves rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The Tic Tok had a delicious nose of tropical fruit, butterscotch, creamed corn, with a creamy moutfeel, and a repeat of the aromas on the palate. A terrific expression of lightly oaked Chardonnay with all the elements that I expect at that price point. 90+ points. Matt Steeves, Quercus Vino January 2014.
Heather Wall rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Satisfaction from the start to finish. Creamy and smooth tropical fruit, toasted oak, golden apple and pear. Loved this full-bodied chardonnay. Alcohol indicitive of Aussie sunshine but not overpowering. Paired nicely with crab dip appetizer.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
