Darlene Myers rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

If you've been hesitant to try a South African wine, this is a good one to start with. Soft subtle aromas in an easy-to-drink wine. Vibrant flavors of apples and a good crisp acidity make for a great wine. Perfect for the dinner table and will pair well with chicken or fish.
Sean O'Regan rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Aug 10, 2013: Pale gold with intense fruit nose showing citrus, apricot, honey, hint of orange marmalade and dusty minerality. Zesty on the palate with citrus grapefruit, apricot, honeydew melon, gentle oak spice and minerality. Medium bodied, the finish is long citrus and a bit of pleasant bitterness. Paired with pasta in a mushroom cream sauce along with grilled chicken and a salad with goat cheese, apple and toasted pecan with a light balsamic dressing.
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Beautiful Chenin from my favourite producer in SA. Quince, white peach, fresh cut flowers, and a hint of kumquat. Fresh and approachable now, but enough stuffing to keep for a year or two. 90 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com)

Natalie's Review

Ken Forrester Old Vine Reserve Chenin Blanc 2011, Stellenbosch W.O., South Africa: Clean and fresh like an early spring breeze. Mouth-watering, medium-bodied and crisp. Terrific white peach and floral notes. I continue to be impressed with South African chenin blanc: it's a lovely change from other whites. Great for after an evening dip in the pool. Try it! There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
