Corinna Horton rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Big, bouncy plumy richness. A nice little gift that appeared this season and a big hit in our household with a Greek inspired lamb pasta. Complex enough to hold it's own next to garlic, onion and oregano. Smooth enough to knock back on it's own, near the fire.

Natalie's Review

Luis Felipe Edwards Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2007, Colchagua Valley, Chile: Vintages Wine Panel: For their Gran Reserva wines, the winery sources the very best grapes from their estate vineyards. Barrel aged in French and American oak for 12 months, this Cabernet displays aromas of black plum, cassis, eucalyptus and vanilla. Dry and silky, with subtle oak spice giving the wine dimension. The producers indicate that these are the wines they reserve for their family gatherings. Enjoy at your own family gathering. My note: Aromas of dark chocolate and black plums. Full-bodied and smooth with a satisfying finish. Drink: 2010-2014. 169847 14% XD 750 mL  $16.95 Score: 89/100. October 30, 2010  Full Review

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
