Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of cherry, plum, pepper and spice persist on the palate with a wonderful purity of fruit and crushed flowers on the finish. Lovely wine. Drink now. For $12, pretty impressive. I'm 89 on this wine. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Holly Bruns rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Notes of earth, lavendar and eucalyptus compliment the dark cherry fruit aromas; silky on the palate with a slightly sweet spiced finish, this is a lovely, warming wine for cool autumn days.

Domaine La Croix Belle Cuvée Syrah 2008, Côtes De Thongue, Midi, France: A Gold Medal winner at the 2009 Syrah du Monde wine competition. Stunningly great value for this ultra-delicious, full-bodied red! Gorgeous notes of black plums and mocha. Round and supple: wow. Perfect party wine. 160150 13.50% D 750 mL  $11.95 Score: 89/100. Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
