Sarah Emilson rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Youthful fruity aromas of citrus, grapefruit, tangerine, limeleaf and baked apples are perfectly balanced with the yeasty, brown butter and smokiness that is a result from gentle and well thought out wine making techniques. This balance carries on into the palate where the wine shows as dry, high acid, med + body, moderate alcohol and a high intensity of flavours such that mimic those found on the nose, as well as popcorn, lemongrass, saffron, minerality, slight leesy character, cantaloupe, melons and cloves; with a long finish. This wine is very good; typical chardonnay grape character is very well balanced with the [not over-done, thank goodness] oak ageing and lees work done at the winery. Drinking very well right now but can hold for at least 3-4 more years. I enjoyed this wine with Thai food (garlic chicken with mushrooms, pad thai, pineapple shrimp curry & mango salad) and it was a perfect success.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
