Sileni Estates Cellar Selection Pinot Noir 2009, Hawkes Bay, North Island, New Zealand: Vintages Wine Panel: The Cellar Selection Pinot Noir offers attractive red berry and cherry aromas. These aromas replay on the palate where deliciously ripe berry fruit flavours are ably supported by soft tannins. This is a great food wine that will pair nicely with game dishes. The 2008 vintage of this wine was very popular with wine drinkers. Expect more success with this latest vintage. My note: Just pops out of the glass saying “Try me, common’, give it a go!” Lovely, vibrant aromas of fresh field strawberries and cherries. Big wow and mouth-watering acidity on the palate. Love it! 694901 12.50% D 750 mL $16.95 Score: 90/100. February 6, 2010 Full Review
